I paint to locate moments of light within change. Working with acrylic, spray paint, oil paint, and pigments on canvas or wood panel, I create abstract landscapes that seek balance between raw energy and moments of stillness.

Each painting begins in openness and unpredictability. I start with spontaneous gestures and fluid pigments that spread freely across the surface, then build through pouring, dripping, masking, scraping, and layering. Tape, stencils, and masking techniques allow me to conceal and reveal layers over time, creating a visual archaeology of the painting.

Some patterns come from the natural world or sacred symbols. Others are drawn from personal memory, including lace once belonging to my grandmother in Brittany. These traces connect the work to heritage, transmission and human experience, while contrasting with references to contemporary visual culture.

At the intersection of gestural abstraction and geometric structure, my work becomes meditations on how we seek coherence, beauty, meaning within the instability of contemporary life.
