Oil & Cold Wax Medium
with Linda Wegmann
Cold wax is a medium that adds body, transparency and depth to oil paint, while speeding up drying time and increasing the paint’s workability. It also combines readily with other mediums such as dry pigment, powdered charcoal, marble dust, graphite and oil sticks. You’ll learn layering, manipulations with tools, mark making and the medium’s ease and propensity to conceal and reveal create a sense of history, drying to a beautiful matte finish.
