As a San Francisco native, I have been surrounded by incredible natural beauty. I begin my artwork in abstraction, very spontaneously, letting layers of color and line build up; catching a moment in time, I reference the figure and landscape. I love brilliant color and use layers of gels, washes, oil sticks and pastels to create texture, line and motion. As a Bay Area Figurative Abstract artist I’m represented in numerous collections in the US, Mexico and Canada.
